To have a beautiful beard, it is necessary, as for hair, to maintain and clean it. That’s why we have been working for months on our Lames & Tradition brand. We were then able to develop and offer you a range of products adapted to each type of beard and according to your olfactory tastes.
1 - Let’s start with cleaning:
Your beard is a real filter: dust, pollution, and food do not mix well. It is, therefore, essential for a short beard to clean it at least three times a week, and for a longer beards (of about 6 months of growth or more) a daily maintenance is necessary for clean and healthy hair.
That’s why we have specially developed our Donkey Milk Beard Shampoo that will clean and nourish your beard in depth. But much more than a shampoo, it is above all, an ideal soap for your body, it will moisturise your skin thanks to the donkey’s milk, whose properties for the skin are no longer to be proven. This soap is also enriched with jojoba and avocado oil, which will help nourish and protect your skin.
2 - Dry and style:
To apply the care products, oils and balms, in the best conditions, dry your beard in the softest way possible. A towel will do the trick but prefer a quality hairdryer, which will avoid heating your hair too much.
Then, comb your beard with our boar bristle brush for a long beard , which will ease untangling, and for a short beard it is better to use our pocket army brush.
You can finish the shaping of your beard with the horn comb that will give volume, and smooth your hair. Indeed, the horn comb and the boar bristle brush are of the same molecular structure as the hair: keratin. Unlike a plastic brush or comb that creates static electricity, the horn comb and the boar bristle brush release this electricity, smooth and de-stress the hair. This keratin will deposit on your hair as a light layer that will bring shine and vigor to the hair.
3 - The Products:
After brushing and untangling your beard, it is now time to feed it, soften it and give it shape. Two essential allies for your creation, an oil and a balm.
The Lames & Tradition Beard Oil has been designed in our laboratory after months of research to nourish and soften your beard as deeply as possible thanks to its multiple vegetable oils, such as, macadamia oil, camellia, jojoba, and avocado.
First, apply a few drops in the palm of your hand, then rub your hands together and gently apply the beard oil to your hair while massaging well up to the face to nourish your skin.
For a disciplined and well-structured beard, it is essential to use the balm. Our Lames & Tradition balm will nourish and soften your beard thanks to its styling virtues. It allows, without sticking, to give shape to your beard, ideal for rebellious hair. This balm is enriched with vegetable oils but also different butters such as shea or cocoa. It can also be used as an conditionner to repair the hair.
